MOE and RH ARKITEKTER are designing a new sclerosis research center

As a part of the fusion of the Sclerosis Clinic at Rigshospitalet Blegdamsvej and Rigshospitalet Glostrup, initiatives have been taken to create a new joint research facility for Danish Multiple Sclerosis Center, which is currently spread out on multiple addresses and buildings.

The center relocates to the 7th floor of the former children’s hospital in Rigshospitalet Glostrup. In connection with the relocation, 500 m2 are to be converted to laboratories and office facilities with related support functions.

It is the Sclerosis Research Unit and the Neuroimmunology Laboratory in Rigshospitalet Blegdamsvej that together with the researchers already located in Glostrup will move into the new modern facilities. This will gather all of Rigshospitalet’s sclerosis activities to a research environment located on the same floor.

Professor and chief physician Finn Sellebjerg is looking forward to the new center:

– We are looking forward to using the new facilities. They will give us the opportunity to join ongoing activities and expand our research activities in several areas. Our employees are also looking forward to relocating into modern and well-equipped premises.
