Expertise
A good working environment is crucial for the well-being, health, productivity, and overall success of a company. Since 2001, we have been creating simple, bright, and aesthetically pleasing workspaces that inspire efficiency and innovation.
We specialize in designing new office buildings and converting existing buildings, as well as providing interior design services - often working on projects that require collaboration between offices, laboratories, or production facilities.
A potential user group could consist of researchers and laboratory technicians who travel back and forth between the laboratory and their office. They transition from an environment where the specific product and its unique requirements are the main focus, to another environment where interpersonal interactions take centre stage.
Mette Hanghøj Lech, Partner & Head of Design
Every user has different needs when it comes to interior design projects. Therefore, we always begin by considering the individual workplace, the user's needs, and the workflows of the organization. To create an office environment that reflects the company's values and the specific user group within the company, we carry out a user involvement process at the start of each new interior design project.
During this process, we work with a representative user group from the organization to investigate and clarify how workflows, department structures, methods, and individual needs can best support a good, efficient, and inspiring workplace.
Our office design approach is based on rationality and minimalism. We prioritize creating value for both individual employees and the community. Our aim is to develop a plan, layout, and flow that ensures efficient workflows, natural light, beautiful views, and optimal acoustic conditions.
We work closely with interior designers and graphic designers to create a cohesive office environment that reflects the company's brand identity and DNA. This involves careful consideration of elements such as color schemes, material choices, signage, wayfinding, fixtures, furnishings, and lighting.
Throughout a typical workday, it's common to need a change of environment. That's why we often divide office spaces into different zones - so that you can work in peace and focus on your personal workspace, while still having the opportunity to socialize in common areas.
The selection of colors and materials is reflective of each zone's purpose. We opt for inviting and tactile materials and colors in individual workspaces, while using stronger colors and interchangeable furnishings in common areas. This helps to create a distinct identity for each zone.
