CBIO – New cleanrooms and laboratories

RH ARKITEKTER has assisted the newly established company Cbio in renovating and equipping a 1,000 square meter production facility in Søborg. The purpose of this facility is to comply with regulatory requirements to produce cell-based immunotherapies for pharmaceutical use.

Cbio is working on a new cancer treatment approach that involves isolating and "reprogramming" the patient's immune cells. Cell-based immunotherapy is a novel treatment method that involves isolating immune cells and modifying them in the lab to give them anti-tumor properties. These cells are then multiplied billions of times before being reintroduced into the patient's body, where they attack and eliminate cancer cells with greater vigor.

This treatment approach offers a ray of hope for terminally ill cancer patients.

The new facility comprises approximately 500 square meters of cleanrooms and laboratories, as well as secondary rooms and office facilities.
